BFT Automation UK Training Academy offers a range of training courses covering everything from gate automation to access control, hosted at our offices in Swindon and Stockport. Our training courses can be customised based on your requirements and we run training sessions at different levels of expertise. Whether you’re an apprentice or an experienced installer, we can offer training that is relevant to you.

Our training academy courses offer technical training for the full range of BFT products. The training covers all you need to know about each product range but can also focus on a specific product.

BFT UK Training Academy Level 1 - Introduction to automation & products - Automation and products training, including electrics, accessories, and programming

BFT UK Training Academy Level 2 – Advanced engineers' courses - Advanced courses including programming control panels, working with barriers, gate operators, bollards, and advanced electronics.

BFT UK Training Academy - Specialist Training - Training courses on anti-terrorism bollards (HVM) and pedestrian speed gates

All our training is conducted by BFT’s in-house Training Manager who has years of technical experience working with gate automation, automatic barriers, security bollards, HVM anti-terrorism (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation) products and more. Our Training Manager can provide practical training, expert advice and teach problem-solving techniques.

All our training sessions are conducted in small groups in either our Swindon office or Stockport office. During these sessions you will get the individual attention that you need, as well as the opportunity to have open discussions and ask questions.

The training typically consists of two parts; the theory in presentation format, followed by practical training. We have working test models set-up in our dedicated training area, so that you can get hands-on practice on the products. As part of your training, you have the option of a guided tour around our demo room, trade counter, warehouse and have the opportunity to meet our staff.
